I really enjoyed this year in Digital Arts. I enjoyed being able to experiment with a different art platform other than drawing. I saw how different the two forms are and the pros and cons of each. I learned about some artists I didn't previously know about such as Roy Lichtenstein for the pop art assignment. I also learned a lot about the different software involved with making different art projects. I learned how to use Illustrator to make lines pop more, I learned how to use Corel Painter very well, and I learned how to use Photoshop to create a surreal image. My goal on the texture landscape was to create a place out of a dream. With the inspirational poster, I wanted to draw a shark, so from there I worked with that to make an inspirational poster. As an artist, i've really grown this year. I've learned how to use my abilities in another form and I hope to be able to eventually try all forms of art. Being a drawer, this class has really helped me improve my use of colors and balance.

I really like your illustration. The shark looks really cool and I like how you made the ink splatters with varying levels of opacity.
